IRI Logo

The Insured Retirement Institute (IRI) is the leading association for the retirement income industry. Based in Washington, D.C., IRI proudly leads a national consumer coalition of more than 20 organizations, and is the only association that represents the entire supply chain of insured retirement strategies. IRI members are the major insurers, asset managers, broker-dealers/distributors, and 150,000 financial professionals. As a not-for-profit organization, IRI provides an objective forum for communication and education, and advocates for the sustainable retirement solutions Americans need to help achieve a secure and dignified retirement.

  • Retirement Planning Tools and Calculators: IRI has developed a suite of retirement planning tools to help consumers plan for a financially secure retirement. The tools are designed to help consumers understand all the variables that could affect their financial security in retirement and explore important retirement planning decisions such as savings level, retirement age, and more.
  • Retirement Planning Tip Sheets: Designed to introduce retirement planning concepts to consumers, these fact sheets provide primers on topics such as Social Security and investing as well as offer tips on managing risk in retirement, selecting a financial advisor, and more. All these resources have been reviewed by FINRA.

IRI launched its new website, IRIonline.org, earlier this week. The new website includes the abovementioned retirement planning calculators and consumer tip sheets. All these resources are free and available to the public.

As part of the IRI mission, the organization is committed to providing consumers with outstanding research and educational resources to better understand retirement income planning.
