Jump$tart National Educator Conference 2013

As the nation’s leading advocate for youth financial literacy, the Jump$tart Coalition® will proudly conduct its fifth annual conference devoted specifically to PreK-12 classroom teachers of personal finance in Washington. This conference offers classroom educators an opportunity to see, learn about, and try educational resources to integrate immediately into current lesson plans; to attend informative workshops under three different strands—advocacy, curriculum/content, and personal growth; to meet with leaders from finance and education; and to network with colleagues from across the country.

The Jump$tart National Educator Conference:
- Is devoted to the teaching of personal finance in PreK-12 classrooms.
- Subsidizes costs for teachers, making it affordable despite economic conditions.
- Improves teachers’ own level of financial literacy.
- Introduces teachers to new information, techniques, and resources to help them bring personal finance to life in their classrooms.
- Gives teachers the opportunity to network with resource providers, industry leaders, and—most importantly—fellow financial educators from across the country.
Through the National Educator Conference, Jump$tart offers its coalition partners a platform to share their resources and expertise with the education community, by discounting the exhibit fee and considering partner representatives first for speaking roles in conference sessions.
