The Kansas Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy is an independently governed, non-profit organization established in 2003. Our members represent business, government, education, and other non-profits who have joined together to improve the personal financial literacy of Kansas's youth.
Our Mission: The Kansas Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy seeks to improve the personal financial literacy of consumers of all ages in Kansas, with an emphasis placed on the financial literacy efforts designed to help low to moderate-income individuals outside of the financial mainstream. Its purpose is to increase awareness about financial literacy and to provide associated resources and information to Kansas constituents including financial education that fosters financial stability and to support the economic empowerment and financial inclusion of low to moderate-income people throughout Kansas.

The Kansas Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy is an affiliate of the National Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy. The National Jump$tart Coalition, based in Washington, D.C., was first convened in 1995 and consists of over 180 organizations committed to improving the financial literacy of America's youth.
