The primary mission of this not-for-profit organization is to enhance the level of financial and economic literacy of individuals and households in the United States and promote professional development at the initial stage of career development and mid-level management. The Society seeks to fulfill its purpose by establishing the following goals:
1. To provide for financial education of individuals and households in the areas of credit and personal money management, investments, estate planning, financial planning, and entrepreneurship;
2. To develop and present financial and economic education through a variety of learning resources and techniques; and
3. To provide training and professional development to those individuals who are at the initial stage of career development
Established in 1998, The Society was organized and operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes and does not engage in any activity, which is not permitted by an organization exempt from taxation under Section 501(a) and described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
