"Teaching Soft Skills Doesn't Have to Be Hard"

Want to get your students ready for the workforce? Then join us for a program that will highlight the skills of job seekers and the needs of employers, strategies for teaching workforce-readiness soft skills to youth, and resources for the classroom. During the webinar, we will provide anecdotal information from employers about the skills they desire in employees, share a workplace interpersonal and professional skills curriculum that is targeted for youth aged 14 to 21 in both in-school and out-of- school environments, and provide additional classroom tools. The featured curriculum is comprised of modular, hands-on, engaging activities that focus on six key skill areas: communication, enthusiasm and attitude, teamwork, networking, problem solving and critical thinking, and professionalism.
