Kasasa's MoneyIsland™ is an exciting online world with offline curriculum, provided by community banks and credit unions, where kids learn financial skills and earn rewards by going on fun adventures. The product includes lesson plans linked to the online experience as well as student workbooks and MoneyIsland Passports that help kids track their progress through the game just like a real-world passport. It is a great resource for community banks and credit unions to provide financial education to their account holders along with schools and programs in their community.

In MoneyIsland, kids go on “quests” to landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and Atlantis where interactive animations and games teach subjects including setting a budget and using credit wisely. Over time, the player becomes a “guru” who will return to the mainland (i.e. the real world) in a helicopter by paying off debt and building assets – Tilting Their Scales. Meanwhile, adults are able to follow along and customize their kids’ experiences through a dynamic administrative interface.

Kids’ achievements on MoneyIsland can earn them real-life rewards like music, books, or even pizza parties! Some community financial institutions even offer kids savings accounts deposits for success in MoneyIsland.

PiggyBot® Powered By Kasasa®

The parent-designed, kid-tested allowance app that helps kids spend, share, and save smart. PiggyBot is a fun, easy way to track allowance spending and saving. No missed allowance, no forgetting IOUs, just money smarts turned fun!

Instead of cash, your kids have a virtual balance with you. Think of it as an IOU you can verify. Each child will have separate Spend-It, Share-It, and Save-It accounts. You decide how to allocate their allowance.

Kids can set goals, take pictures of things they want, share money, and more. When they save enough, we call them a “Goal Getter!” And thereʼs a fun screen to show off the items they purchased, reinforcing principles of saving for wants, needs, and nice-to-haves. This free app is just one way we give families the tools you need to talk about smart spending, smart sharing, and smart saving. Itʼs a virtual piggy bank that pays off in real life!
