WHAT WE DO:
Headquartered in New York, NY, the kasina Youth Foundation for Financial Literacy is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the financial literacy in underserved communities. To do this we leverage our network of financial professionals to provide volunteer and financial support to national organizations working to create more economically informed citizens.
WHAT WE OFFER:
Grants: We offer financial support to foundations that provide financial literacy education to youth in the kasina community.
Volunteers: We are committed to being actively involved in our communities, not only sharing our skills and time with our partners, but also engaging those in our for-profit community to do so.
WHAT WE NEED:
kasina Youth Foundation is committed to supporting its partners in providing quality financial literacy education. We encourage anyone interested in getting involved to connect.
We are also interested in any randomized control trials or longitudinal studies that explore the connection between financial literacy education and behavior. We’d welcome information about research in any stage of investigation.
New Partner, Operation HOPE : kasina is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Operation HOPE. A proud supporter of Jump$tart organizations, kasina welcomes Operation HOPE as it joins Jump$tart Coalition state affiliate w!se in our grant portfolio. Operation HOPE’s Banking on our Future (BOOF) program is committed to elevating the dignity, hope, and economic self-sufficiency of youth in low-wealth communities through financial literacy. We look forward to joining HOPE in classrooms across the country in the coming year.
