Josh Sandler - Director of Development and Partnerships

Josh Sandler is the Director of Development and Partnerships for the national Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy.

At the Jump$tart Coalition (a national nonprofit based in Washington, DC), Josh secures revenue through grants, donations, sponsorships and dues.  Additionally, he works to attract and retain National Coalition Partners, serving as a liaison to Partner representatives on Jump$tart’s mission-based activities and a national partner resource for state coalitions. Josh joined the Jump$tart Coalition team in January 2018.

Before joining the organization, Josh worked as a Donor Relations Manager for Make-a-Wish Mid-Atlantic. There he launched a planned-giving campaign and secured $260,000 in foundation gifts. He’s also served as the Development Manager for the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America (CAMERA) and as Development Officer for the Maimonides School – where he managed a $1.6 million annual campaign. At CAMERA he orchestrated annual fundraising galas with income exceeding $1,000,000 and attendance of more than 600 guests. He also conducted donor research, managed planned-giving campaigns and cultivated new partners. 

He is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in Religious Studies and a concentration in Jewish Studies.
