WHAT WE DO:
ClearPoint Credit Counseling Solutions (CCCS) provides consumers with budget, debt, and housing advice. CCCS is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia with more than 50 branches across the country. ClearPoint counselors help consumers identify the causes of their individual financial problems and make a plan to address them. Services are available by phone and Internet nationally, or by one-on-one counseling at branch locations. With a mission to promote consumer health through financial education, ClearPoint offers a range of tools, calculators, quizzes, e-books, and videos at clearpointccs.org, as well as a full suite of interactive online modules at ClearPoint U. ClearPoint partners with credit unions in this effort, as well as Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy®.
WHAT WE OFFER:
ClearPoint University — ClearPoint University (ClearPoint U) is an online resource that offers a series of courses that teach the basics of budgeting, credit, housing, loans, and debt management at no cost. Courses are self-paced and would be a great resource for college students and young adults. Students can choose their goal, learn, and take course tests, which are provided.
Student Loan Counseling — Student loans are weighing many people down, and some consumers don’t see a way out. ClearPoint offers a student loan counseling session at no cost that will give individuals the opportunity to discuss their options with a counselor who can give personalized recommendations about repayment programs they might qualify for, along with other suggestions to make the debt more manageable.
