WHAT WE OFFER

  • Annual Financial Literacy Leadership Conference: SFE&PD’s Annual Financial Literacy Leadership Conference is a professional development conference that serves as a forum for financial educators and other professionals to come together to share best practices, establish new partnerships and alliances, and learn about the latest research and development in financial literacy. Financial educators, policymakers and researchers recognize our conference as a venue of choice.

  • Financial Education in the Workplace: SFE&PD provides financial education workshops and seminars in the workplace for corporate, government and nonprofit organizations. The courses offered are designed to increase the financial knowledge of attendees and help them make informed financial decisions to ensure individual and household financial growth. The courses include practical application of personal money management concepts. The workshops are presented in an interactive, lively format and focus on germane information adults encounter throughout their lifetime. SFE&PD is listed on the GSA Schedule.

  • “Mind Over Money Skills” Financial Education Workshops: “Mind Over Money Skills” is a series of financial literacy seminars presented to college and university students.  The seminars teach students important strategies of personal financial management that they may not get elsewhere, or may learn too late. Each workshop/seminar is unique, in that it is culturally relevant and focuses on topics and factors that students face in everyday life.  Our goal is to enable young adults to make informed financial decisions during their academic education and throughout their lifetime.

  • Community Seminars and Workshops: SFE&PD offers face-to-face personal financial education seminars and workshops to low-to-moderate individuals of all ages who live in communities in targeted states.  Individuals who attend the seminars and workshops are exposed to the practical application of personal financial management concepts.

  • Financial Success Quarterly Newsletter: The quarterly newsletter provides articles that cover relevant financial planning topics, from establishing financial goals and following new economic trends to advice on retirement planning and investments. The newsletter is accessible on our website —www.sfepd.org
