Topics Education

WHAT WE DO:

Founded in 1995, Topics Education is a strategic communications firm that specializes in education outreach around important issues such as Personal Financial Literacy. On October 1 of this year, we launched TopicsFinancial.com, a Web site highlighting the need for effective financial education and our expertise in addressing it. We help our clients strengthen their stakeholder relationships by developing and managing programs that foster deep engagement in schools, homes, workplaces, and communities.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Product Development

We develop customized resources (e.g., Web sites, interactives, curricula) that engage and educate target audiences in waysthat make learning relevant and meaningful with a sustained impact-an impact that results from a combination of instructional design and aesthetic design that speaks directly to audience and stakeholder needs.

Education Strategy

Education initiatives must strengthen and connect strongly to an organization's brand. We help organizations determine how to provide resources and opportunities that will make a difference for stakeholders and leverage the organizations' strengths and unique capabilities.

Campaign Consulting & Implementation

We specialize in youth education campaigns, including classroom and campus outreach. Using resources as centerpieces of campaigns, we work through multiple channels to reach the target audiences and provide a platform for ongoing relationships with stakeholders.

WHAT WE NEED:

Topics Education is looking for organizations that want to foster financial literacy in ways that promote active learning - in ways that extend beyond simply pushing out information. It is a crowded field of concerned organizations charged with providing financial education. We believe, however, that every organization can make a deep impact by leveraging their strengths and their stakeholder relationships.

WHAT'S NEW:

Launch of TopicsFinancial.com

http://www.topicsfinancial.com

We firmly believe that only with coordinated and proactive efforts to raise the levels of financial literacy will the U.S. be able to improve and sustain its economic health. As everyone in the world of financial education knows, the needs are getting greater and the effects of low levels of financial literacy are getting more pronounced.

Given our extensive work at Topics Education around personal financial literacy, on October 1, we launched TopicsFinancial.com both to highlight the need for effective financial education and our expertise in helping to address that need. We will continue focusing our efforts on serving the financial education community and those they impact every day.
