Financial Planning Days is an annual national initiative that unites the collective resources of the financial planning community and city governments nationwide to deliver free, no-strings-attached financial advice and education to the public through a series of Financial Planning Day events around the country.
Financial Planning Days is organized by four national, non-profit organizations – Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Financial Planning Association, Foundation for Financial Planning and The U.S. Conference of Mayors.
WHAT WE OFFER
Each local Financial Planning Day features CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals volunteering their time to meet with attendees one-on-one to provide financial advice on various topics, including – budgeting, debt management, retirement planning, investing, income taxes, insurance, estate planning and many more. The events also feature classroom-style workshop presentations addressing key personal finance topics.
Best of all, it’s all free and there are no strings attached – all financial planners are participating as volunteers and they do not sell products or services, or give out business cards!
This year marks the seventh annual Financial Planning Days initiative with more than 20 events coming up in October. Visit www.FinancialPlanningDays.orgfor the latest schedule and to find an event in your area.
