Headquartered in Washington, D.C., Insured Retirement Institute (IRI) is the leading association for the retirement income industry and proudly leads a national consumer coalition of more than 50 organizations, and is the only association that represents the entire supply chain of insured retirement strategies. IRI supports a range of financial literacy initiatives including a number of programs designed to educate millennials, women, older investors, and minorities about the importance of comprehensive retirement planning. IRI partners in these efforts include the National Retirement Planning Coalition (NRPC®) composed of prominent financial industry and advocacy organizations dedicated to raising public awareness of retirement planning.
  • National Retirement Planning Coalition: The NRPC is proud to lead the drive to a safe and dignified retirement for all Americans. The NRPC offers consumer-focused, life stage-specific resources, so any person, from a student to a senior, can receive comprehensive information on retirement planning and related issues.
  • RetireOnYourTerms.org: RetireOnYourTerms.org is the consumer-facing website that provides access to educational resources on retirement planning organized by life-stage providing information on topics relevant to retirement from fraud prevention to budgeting-basics. Additionally, there are tools and calculators to help consumers plan for their retirement.
  • IRI Membership: IRI offers companies and financial advisors unparalleled access to industry leading research and educational resources. IRI also serves the industry as the leading voice on retirement income policy issues. We seek to create new partnerships with like-minded organizations committed to financial literacy. As an advocate for consumer-focused resources on retirement planning and related issues, we bring together a powerful coalition to help us raise public awareness of the need for comprehensive retirement planning. There are many opportunities for companies and organizations to get involved such as joining the NRPC® or participating in our National Retirement Planning Week® to raise awareness of key retirement planning topics to help consumers have a better future.   • Save the Date: National Retirement Planning Week® 2017: April 3-7, 2017, IRI will host its annual national consumer engagement campaign promoting retirement security.
